About the role and What You will do Review and negotiation of loan agreements/documents, secured and unsecured loan, security documents, guarantee deeds, trustee agreements, escrow agreements, consortium documents and other financing documents Review and negotiation of treasury documentation i.e., bank and non-bank financial company borrowings Rendering legal opinion on several provisions under the Companies Act, 2013 and RBI regulations Revamp of standard documentation from time to time to cater to the changing legal landscape Analysis of new and amended laws and regulations and their applicability to various departments within the organization. Managing the regulatory/compliance aspects of the company\'s business and taking proactive decisions and recommending appropriate actions to the company\'s leadership. Qualifications What you will need Banking and fintech experience would be preferred. Prior in-house or start up experience will be an additional advantage. Business savvy - Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality Experience with corporate governance issues and corporate secretarial duties Excellent verbal and written communication skills Deep knowledge of statutes, rules and regulations issued by RBI pertaining to businesses. 4 - 9years practice with an established law firm having handled NBFC/ Banking clients or with any NBFC/ fintech company Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
