The Senior Manager of Learning & Development will be a strategic and spiritual leader responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive L&D strategy for all staff, intercessors, and ministry leaders across the global operations of Jesus Calls. This role ensures all talent development initiatives are deeply rooted in Biblical principles, align with the ministry's mission and foster spiritual maturity, ministry effectiveness, and professional excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1.L&D Strategy and Program Development
oStrategic Alignment: Develop a centralized, ministry-wide L&D strategy that identifies critical skill and spiritual growth gaps across all departments (e.g., Prayer Towers, Media, Partner Services, Finance, HR, Admin) and aligns with the organization's vision and strategic goals.
oCurriculum Design: Lead the design and development of all training content, including staff induction/onboarding, specialized technical training, management/leadership development programs, and spiritual formation curricula.
oBlended Learning Solutions: Implement modern, engaging learning solutions, including e-learning modules, a Learning Management System (LMS), in-person workshops, and mentorship/coaching programs.
oBudget Management: Manage the L&D budget, vendor relationships, and resources to ensure cost-effective and high-quality training delivery globally.
2.Ministry-Specific Training and Spiritual Formation
oIntercessor Training: Oversee the specialized training and certification programs for Prayer Intercessors, Volunteers and Evangelists (including the Jesus Calls Prayer Academy), ensuring deep spiritual maturity, strong Biblical knowledge, and compassionate counselling.
oPrayer Tower & Call Center Skills: Design ongoing training for staff in Prayer Towers and Telephone Prayer Towers to enhance multilingual communication expertise, call audit/evaluation skills, and compassionate ministry techniques to better serve those calling for prayer.
oLeadership Development: Establish a leadership pipeline program aimed at nurturing emerging leaders with a Christ-centered approach to management, ensuring continuity and effectiveness within the ministry leadership structure
3.Measurement, Evaluation, and Coaching
oNeeds Analysis: Conduct regular Training Needs Assessments (TNA) and gap analyses across all functional areas to ensure training remains relevant and impactful.
oEffectiveness Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and feedback mechanisms (e.g., impact on Prayer Tower call quality, staff retention, ministry effectiveness) to measure the ROI and efficacy of all L&D programs, reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
oCoaching & Mentoring: Implement formal mentoring and coaching frameworks for managers and supervisors to foster a culture of continuous learning and support individual professional and spiritual growth.
