Job Description


Purpose of the Role:This position will report into and work closely with the Lead Internal Comms. The individual will be responsible to provide holistic communication solutions via earned, owned and shared media (non-paid/non-commercial) to engage with internal audiences:

  • Act as a centre of expertise and excellence (COE) to execute strategic and leadership communication.
  • Actively collaborate with other COEs, Corporate Functions and Business Partners to drive engagement internally with guidance from Lead Internal Communications
  • Work closely with the Lead Internal Comms to curate and narrate interesting stories to propagate culture, values and relevant themes
  • Conceive, organise and implement ideas and strategies to inform, educate and engage employees with guidance from Lead Internal Communications
  • Responsible for executing and maintaining key collaterals including newsletters, and corporate content for intranet (mytatamotors.com) with guidance from Lead Internal Communications
  • Develop, update and timely disseminate all relevant collateral to facilitate this
  • Address all routine queries and issues management to enhance internal communication for TML, in line with company guidelines and policies with guidance Lead Internal Comms
Job Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Execution
  • 1Contribution to planning
  • Work with Lead, Internal Comms to make Internal communications a two-way exchange, driving engagement and inspire behaviour change via a holistic 360 approach
  • Work closely with the Internal Comms lead in crafting senior management key messages to be conveyed and accordingly execute relevant collaterals and campaigns
  • Work closely with the Lead Internal Comms to create an appropriate internal communications strategy, plan and calendar for sustained coverage of brand, product and business achievements
  • Engage with relevant agencies and team members to execute holistic plans to drive the desired narrative with necessary guidance from the Lead Internal comms
  • Identify opportunities to suitably hero employees for inspiring achievements and accomplishments
  • Identify potential issues that may crop up and proactively suggest measure to mitigate impact
  • Regular monitoring and analysis of impact of actions and initiatives undertaken for continuous learning and refinement as needed with guidance from Lead Internal Comms
2Key actions and decisions (Long term and Short term) * Co-ordinate with supporting team as well as partner agencies to optimize results with guidance from Lead Internal Comms
  • Support Lead Internal Comms in strategic communication and reputation management initiatives
  • Ensure a comprehensive Internal communications programme and calendar is implemented for businesses and function in alignment with respective business partner
  • Support Lead Internal Comms create and execute appropriate events and collateral to drive messaging and facilitate interactions
  • Work closely with Lead Internal Comms to ideate and recommend appropriate Communication tools to make internal communication more engaging and purposeful
  • Work closely with Lead Internal Comms to organize and execute necessary physical/virtual events for engagements Coffee Sessions, Ask Me Anything, Dialogue with ExCom
  • Curate and contribute content for Tata Group communication platforms
  • Identify trends and interventions required from impact analysis of activities and initiatives undertaken
  • Custodian of company intranet - Ensure all relevant information is updated on it timely
  • Annual Internal Communications Survey
3Impactful communication: * Work with Lead Internal Comms on making communication digital and visually rich and
  • Demonstrate innovation in ideation and execution
  • Drive 1 thematic campaign every quarter internally
  • Adopt and adapt new communication tools to engage audiences and drive messaging
  • Build repertoire of new, emerging skill sets for self
  • Ensure improvement in Impact, efficiency and effectiveness of internal communication initiatives
  • Execute new tools/formats, as required
  • Track and measure output and outcomes of initiatives undertaken
Desired Candidate Profile:Experience 5-7 years in the field of communication,Qualification-MBA in Advertising , Graduation & Post Graduation in Management/ Journalism/ Mass communications/ Communications Management/ Media and Advertising/ MarketingSkills-
