Role: Internal Content, Communications & Brand Lead, reporting to Head of Brand & Communications, India

As internal communications and brand lead, you will drive our efforts to build a strong internal employer brand narrative that brings to life our employee value proposition and highlights our organizational culture and values. Using our employee engagement platform, you will create and execute a brand-aligned content and communications strategy comprising feature stories, videos, podcasts and more. You will also collaborate directly with our business functions and technology teams to tell unique stories, promote new initiatives, and drive employee experience and engagement.

You are a strategic thinker, and an exceptional writer and editor with a passion for telling great stories. You thrive in a start-up environment, focusing on the future while creating impact in the present. You envision and action new ideas, always looking for ways to improve experience, content, and delivery. You work collaboratively in a matrixed environment, and have experience working with senior stakeholders in a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Your primary responsibility will be to manage and run our new employee engagement platform - from creating a communications and content strategy to building an editorial pipeline of content that helps us sustain and grow employee engagement.
  • Working with an agency, you will also drive our internal branding and oversee the creation of communications for our employee programs, such as events, training and workshops.
  • You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to establish an employer brand narrative that captures our health-tech thought leadership, our social impact, our diversity and inclusion programs, and our best-in-class benefits program.
  • You will develop a set of KPIs to measure, track, and report on the performance of your internal communications strategy on a month-to-month basis.
  • You will advise and guide stakeholders on industry best practices in building strong internal brand loyalty and connectedness through content, creatives, programs, experiences and stories.
  • You will regularly check in with our business leads to cover the latest internal news updates, prepare leadership insights and blogs, success stories and case studies.
  • You will work with the development team to improve and evolve our employee engagement platform, making it future ready for new engagement tools and channels.
  • Working with the brand and communications team, you will develop brand guidelines and processes for the creation and publication of content on our platform and channels.
  • You will work with our global internal communications team in the US, sharing key updates and program highlights that are relevant to the broader global organization
  • You will manage day-to-day operations for internal communications, including budgets, vendor relationships, site updates, etc.
Key Requirements:
  • A professional with at least 10 years of experience in internal communications, content writing, and branding
  • Demonstrated impact playing a strategic role in driving internal communications programs
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills is essential; a test will be given
  • Experience in Healthcare and/or technology industries
  • Experience working in MNCs/startups/national media
  • Journalism / brand management experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of global best practices in internal communications and employee engagement
