Purpose of role





MaxVal India is seeking to recruit a diligent, experienced, and highly self-motivated finance professional to strengthen our India finance function significantly. The Senior Manager - India Finance will play a key role in our rapidly growing, stable, and successful global business.



The role encompasses experience and expertise in financial and management reporting, bookkeeping, A/R & A/P management, taxation, payroll, handling audits and statutory compliances, funds management, budgeting and forecasting, as well as risk management and control processes.



The role will cover all aspects of finance, including managing and developing the team, to foster an environment where finance is recognized as a valuable business partner. For the individual, this means leveraging available data, systems, and resources to deliver excellence in finance.

Roles & Responsibilities:



Manage and ensure timely and accurate book-keeping of all transactions. Do complete treasury management including preparation of daily BRS and managing relationships with Banking partners. Ensure to do timely payments and filing of all statutory dues. Manage and calculate payroll and disburse all pay-outs in a timely and accurate manner. Manage complete AP process and vendor management process. Work closely with statutory/tax and any other auditors to ensure zero observations and timely closure of all audits.. Follow a detailed budgeting exercise of all expenses and do a monthly reporting of variance analysis and do forecasting if required. Perform risk assessment of all financial processes and improve the process accordingly. Handle all direct and indirect taxation including GST/Income Tax along with SEZ/STPI compliances. Prepare monthly and periodic MIS to provide management with all critical information. Review all contracts/MSA to safeguard the company from any financial risks/obligations. Form excellent partnerships with key stakeholders; those responsible for helping you deliver results which includes departments like HR, Admin, Information Security and Infrastructure. Identify the area of cost optimization.
Prepare various periodic financial statements like Profit & Loss A/c, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statement and Bank reconciliation statement. Maintain good relationships with external parties like Bank, Vendors, Auditors and local Government authorities.


Requirements

Key Requirements:

An appropriate finance qualification, aligned to multiple years' experience developing a Finance function Experience partnering with cross functional stakeholders and influencing key business decisions High degree of technical competence and understanding, as the company is a fast expanding, multi-geographical organisation, hence developing rigorous compliance standards and a quality / risk orientation will be critical Previous experience of working in a fast paced, changing environment would be an advantage Ideally recently performed many of the key tasks outlined The business language is English, thus excellent professional communication skills in English are essential.

Educational qualification and experience we look for:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 6-7 years of relevant experience, or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant/MBA in Finance with 15-17 years of relevant experience. * Will have the added advantage of having competency in various ERP/tools like Zoho, GreytHr and Tally etc.
