Purpose of the Role
The role is responsible for architecture Design, Development, requirements and testing of Electric Powertrain system
Job Responsibility
1. Architecture Design
HV Powertrain Architecture and Integration
Translate high level requirements to Architectural elements for feature realization for EV powertrain throughout Ecosystem
Undertake Preliminary design, analysis and verification using relevant tools, including system sizing, OBC, E-Drive, DC/DC, Battery, BMS, powertrain component selection and simulation for the performance requirement.
Architecture design for functional safety requirements of ISO 26262
2. Architecture Development & Testing
Support Software Architecture development, Hardware development, and integration & validation team.
Feature Analysis and Preparation of circuit Schematics for High voltage and Low voltage circuit.
Signal integrity study and selection of Hardware interface Pins, Define IVN topology
Support Validation at part, System, Vehicle level using DVP, HiL, V&V, LabCar, Physical Testing etc
3. Gen3 process and project documentation
HV Aggregate software requirements management, release management
Defining and implementing System Design process in line with System Engineering Approach.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Education Masters in Engineering-Electrical / Electronics
• Relevant Experience :
• 6-10 years' experience in Architecture Design, Development in EV
• Knowledge in Design verification/validation, System DFMEAs and Regulatory requirements for Passenger Electric Vehicle
• Exposure to Product Development Processes, Practices
• Powertrain Architecture integration with ESP,ADAS,Airbag,TEL,Cluster,Analytics,OTA,Cybersecurity etc
• Knowledge in Application software development
• Defining and implementing System Design principles, process in line with System Engineering Approach
• Trade-off Analysis for various feature realizations in EV powertrain

Skills & Competencies

• Logical and analytical skills in architecture development, MATLAB/Simulink, MBSE approach & Tools, Functional Safety, emerging standards, Feature realization, knowledge of Application software for EV automotive application.
