Job Description


BFSI/Fintech Company looking for Sr. Manager in Human Resources (Payroll & Operations) domain based out of Mumbai. Position is hybrid and does require working from Office as well as few days of work from Home.

Key highlights of the role are listed below (purely indicative and not limiting):

HR Operations

- Ensure effectiveness and end-to-end employee lifecycle management (pre-boarding to off boarding) both from organization and employee experience perspective.

- Ensure HR compliances and ensure adherence to relevant laws.

- Responsible for maintaining employee records and ensure data quality i.e. timeliness availability, accuracy and completeness.

- Automating and digitizing the HR processes

- Provide employee focused experience through timely and accurate completion of queries and activities

- Liaison with other external vendors/agencies and other shared services organization teams

- Managing personnel files and ensuring timely updation of records.

- Ensuring compliance with state and local laws/rules in HR.

- Sharing MIS, Analytics and Dashboard.

HR Onboarding

- Preparing an offer letter and sending it to the appropriate candidate.

- Sending new employee\'s emails in regards to the company rules and regulations to be followed.

- Collecting paperwork and other related documents from the new hire.

- Introducing new employees to the team members.

- Preparing onboarding documents and kits as and when required.

- Contacting the technical team for arranging hardware and software for the new employee.

- Preparing & sending onboarding email templates to the concern stakeholders.

- Staying up to date with innovative and creative ways of onboarding new employees.

- Creating smooth on-boarding process.

- Develop the policies and processes for on-boarding and exiting employees and manage the processes to ensure smooth transition.

Employee Life Cycle Management

- Responsible for maintaining employee records and ensure data quality i.e. timeliness availability, accuracy and completeness.

- On time and accurate delivery of HR Analytical reports.

- Automating and digitizing the HR processes.

- Drive the efficiency and engagement of the Human Resources team.

- Develop and continuously evaluate the Human Resource policies of the organization to ensure adherence to regulations, emerging industry trends and felt employee needs.

Payroll & Compliance

- Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in tax exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers etc.

- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.

- Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.

- Complies with state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Effective management of employees leave and attendance process.

- And, any other responsibilities, as assigned by organization.

Vendor Management

- Effective management of BGV for employees.

- Management of employee benefits like Term Life, GPA, Mediclaim.

- Periodic review of vendors to assess the performance level and improve the service levels.

- Manage the relationships with vendors, regulatory authorities and other external authorities to drive the talent strategy for BFSL and ensuring compliance with regulations.

PMS and C&B

- Maintain the confidentiality of performance data of employees.

- Updation of relevant performance data in HRIS.

- Provide relevant compensation analysis to management.

- Define the performance management policies and processes within BFSL and work with the individual functions drive the performance management process.

Analytics

- Design the robust MIS/Dashboards with on time and accurate HR analytics reports.

- Compile HR data and metrics from the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs

- Design and manage employee surveys and exit interviews

- Gather and disburse government labour statistics, new employment regulations, and labour laws.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Applicants should possess the following attributes:

A full time MBA with experience in broad range of human resource domains including Payroll & Operations with minimum of 4 years\' experience.

- Experience in HR Operations and Payroll

- Knowledge of HR competencies and skills.

- Ability to implement human resources strategies, initiatives, and programs.

- Understanding of local human resources laws, legislation, and practices.

- Attention to detail

- Highly self-motivated, directed, and change oriented

- Prior work experience in BFSI sector is preferred

- Extensive experience in employee life cycle management, data analytics and manpower management.

- Exposure to HR analytics will be desirable

- MS excel
