Job Title: Sr. Manager- HR

Reports To: Director HR, Commercial & Shared Services
Group/Division: Select Business functions
Position Location: Mumbai
Number of Direct Reports: 1-2 or TBD

Position Summary:

The incumbent will design, lead and execute the people strategies, across assigned business units, aligned with short- and long-term goals of the business. As a member of the HR team, will be responsible for effective deployment of our core HR processes at all levels. He/She was also be responsible for driving the organizational culture and being involved in country level projects/initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of business objectives & related people metrics
  • Design, lead and execute people strategy and initiatives.
  • Implement various HR policies and processes in the assigned business unit/team
  • Coach managers in assigned business unit/client groups on issues including application of HR policies and processes, restructuring, and complex employee issues
  • Provide data analytics to business leaders (work with data on excel) to arrive at appropriate people decisions
  • Drive change management across assigned organization to drive initiatives
  • Display a talent mindset and lead the creation of strong talent pipeline and succession, bench strength within assigned units
  • Analyze HR metrics for assigned business groups to help managers arrive at appropriate people decisions; understand trends and proactively develop plans to address concerns through meaningful actions.
  • Engage with employees through 1:1 meetings, skip level interactions to proactively provide people inputs/solutions to leaders
  • Partner with managers & Talent Acquisition COE to drive recruitment efforts within established division guidelines
  • Participate in projects or initiatives with broader HR team to ensure consistent HR experience for all employees (i.e. roll out annual programs, new programs/policies, etc.)
  • Support and execute implementation of learning & development needs within the assigned business unit/team
  • Collaborate with TMOD lead and assigned business managers to proactively assess management development and training needs and participate in facilitation and delivery of sessions as required
  • Coach, develop and build a strong team of HR professionals
Qualifications and Requirements for role
  • Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred
  • 12+ years of overall HR experience with at least 7 years of proven HR partnering experience, ideally in a large global matrix organization. Minimum 3years of people management experience
  • Demonstrate integrity in all business interactions and honors personal commitments
  • Comfortable working in a demanding environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi task and have a structured approach to manage complex situations
  • Building relationships and Influencing skills
  • Ability to critically think, plan and execute
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical & technical skills (i.e. MS Word, PPT, Excel, Visio) and the use of current HRIS tools (preferably Workday)
