Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced

Senior Manager - Hot Forging

to lead

shop floor operations

in a large forging setup. The role requires strong expertise in

high-tonnage forging machines

, production planning, quality control, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end hot forging shop floor operations Handle and operate

1000-2000 ton forging machines

Ensure effective utilization of

Man, Machine, Method & Material (4M)

for maximum productivity Prepare and monitor

daily production plan vs actuals

and reduce production losses Organize

preventive & breakdown maintenance

for machines, tools, and utilities Prepare

daily production reports, power & fuel consumption reports, and scrap analysis

using SAP Attend

CFT & rejection review meetings

and drive

root cause analysis & corrective actions (CAPA)

Manage

shift rosters, manpower allocation

, and shop floor discipline Implement and sustain

5S, safety norms, and safe working practices

Drive

continuous improvement initiatives

for productivity, quality, and cost reduction

Required Experience & Skills

Strong experience in

hot forging operations

Hands-on exposure to

1000-2000 ton forging presses

Knowledge of

SAP-based production reporting

Experience in quality control, rejection reduction & process improvement Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering

(preferred)

Experience

12+ years

in hot forging manufacturing with senior-level responsibilities

Salary - ?70,000 - ?90,000 per month

(based on experience and interview)
