Job Profile Summary



FP&A collaborates with leaders and management teams, providing trusted financial and strategic advice to drive business growth and profitability. By creating, tracking and analyzing budgets, forecasts and financial results, they develop performance insights that contribute to critical business decision making and strategic plans. A Financial Planning & Analysis Leader leads and inspires a multi-team department to execute its strategy and achieve its operational goals.


Job Profile Description



Directs the financial planning, reporting, and analytics support used by Senior Leadership and regional business leaders and communicates the impact of analyses and forecasts. Assesses finance structure, processes and reporting and develops processes to simplify, automate, or streamline, to enhance effectiveness and efficiency. Reviews existing cost pools for further consolidation. Provides strong financial leadership and determines overall direction and setting of finance priorities, in order to meet the needs of the functions supported. Initiates and leads special projects related to business unit performance, M&A, and other strategic opportunities, and provides through leadership on an approach to analyses. Develops and implements processes to improve overall FP&A reporting and analytics in support of strategic initiatives. Develops budgets and forecasts based on established objectives and initiatives. Recommends changes to financial strategies. Provides support for financial transactions and business decisions. Recommend changes to financial strategies. Leads, directs and develops financial staff, to ensure financial practices are conducted accurately and compliantly with regulations, laws and standards. Education & Experience:



Chartered Accountant or related degree in finance, accounting, business 12-15+ years of progressive experience in an FP&A role within GICs or Banking Industry
