The candidate will manage and finalize accounts, lead consolidation and integration of financial statements across multiple entities and ensure compliance with both internal and statutory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee finalization of accounts for the group's hotels, ensuring accurate closure of monthly, quarterly and annual books.
Manage the consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities/business units, aligning reports to group and statutory standards.
Integrate the accounting function post-merger or acquisition, standardizing systems and processes across hotels.
Coordinate with various department heads and external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audits and compliance.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA), with at least 7-8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
Solid experience in accounts finalization, consolidation and integration of accounts for multi-entity business groups.
Preference for prior work experience in hotel, hospitality or allied service industries.
Strong understanding of hotel accounting principles, revenue recognition methods, cost and inventory control and statutory compliance requirements.
Advanced skills in ERP systems, Excel and financial consolidation/reporting software.
Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate audits, statutory filings and regulatory reporting.
Preferred Experience:
Hands-on experience in hotel finance, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and hotel revenue accounting.
Experience in a multi-property or group accounting environment.
Exposure to integration projects for newly acquired hotels or business units.
