We are looking for an experienced

Chartered Accountant (CA)

to manage

finance, accounts, taxation, and compliance

at our

Thermal Power Plant in Chhattisgarh

. The role involves

plant level financial control, statutory compliance, MIS reporting, and coordination with Head Office and auditors

.

Role Objective

To manage

end to end plant finance operations

, ensure

statutory compliance

, control

costs and budgets

, and provide

accurate financial insights

to management for efficient power plant operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Plant Finance & Accounting

Manage

plant-level accounting

, books of accounts, and financial controls

Ensure timely

monthly, quarterly, and annual closing

Maintain accuracy in

GL, reconciliations, and financial statements

2. Budgeting, Costing & MIS

Prepare and monitor

annual budgets and forecasts

Perform

variance analysis

and cost optimization

Prepare

plant MIS reports

for management review

3. Statutory Compliance & Taxation

Handle

GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances

Ensure timely filing of returns and statutory payments

Ensure compliance with

Companies Act, GST Act, Income Tax Act

4. Audit & Governance

Coordinate

statutory, tax, and internal audits

Ensure audit closures and implementation of audit observations

Maintain proper documentation and statutory registers

5. Vendor, Contract & Payment Management

Review vendor invoices and contracts

Ensure adherence to

commercial terms and approval matrices

Oversee vendor payments and reconciliations

6. Banking & Treasury

Liaise with banks for

LCs, BGs, working capital, and fund flow

Monitor cash flow and plant-level treasury operations

7. Team & Stakeholder Coordination

Lead and guide plant finance & accounts team

Coordinate with Head Office finance, plant operations, auditors, consultants, and authorities

Required Skills & Experience:

CA with

7-10 years

of relevant experience

Mandatory experience in

Thermal Power Plant / Power / Heavy Industry

Strong knowledge of

plant costing, MIS, and compliance

Hands-on experience in

GST & Direct Tax

Working knowledge of

ERP system

Ability to work independently at

plant/site location

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Prior experience in

power generation / infrastructure projects

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good coordination and communication skills

Willingness to stay at

site location (accommodation provided)
