Align financial strategies with business goals across global shipping routes and asset portfolios.
Provide insights on capital allocation, fleet investments, and operational efficiency.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Oversee preparation of accurate financial statements and regulatory submissions.
Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS) and maritime tax laws.
Act as the primary liaison with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.
Revenue & Cost Management
Monitor voyage profitability, freight income, and port disbursements.
Manage cost control initiatives across dry-docking, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
Support billing and recovery activities tied to vessel operations and client contracts.
ERP & Systems Integration
Implement and manage ERP systems (e.g., IFS, Anaplan) for financial data accuracy.
Ensure seamless integration between finance, operations, and vessel accounting teams.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals and vessel accountants.
Identify skill gaps and foster growth through structured development programs.
Promote collaboration across departments to improve financial literacy and transparency.
Performance Monitoring & Forecasting
Conduct variance analysis and monitor budgets against actuals.
Deliver periodic reports with commentary for senior leadership and board members.
Support strategic decisions with scenario modeling and risk assessments.
