Senior Manager - Finance (AtR, Taxation, Compliances)

Overall Objective

  • Ensure Accounting to Reporting requirements for AH Legal entities are met in accordance with Indian and Group Reporting needs.
  • Providing support to Manufacturing Organization in terms of various operational matters, processes \xe2\x80\x93 accounting, reporting, taxation, fixed assets management.
  • Establish strong partnership with Business Support Center (BSC) Organization for ensuring required operational support from and to Local Finance Teams.
  • Establishing adequate and sound internal control system and ensure sustained execution of such controls.
  • Ensuring all regulatory/statutory requirements relating to both Legal Entities\xe2\x80\x99 financial operations are met.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting to Reporting \xe2\x80\x93 For both Animal Health India entities - Accurate and timely monthly corporate reporting / closing in line with USGAAP. Liaison with Regional office and with Business Support Centers and global stakeholders to ensure required support to and from Local Finance Teams. Ensure implementation of group policies and procedures.
  • Fixed Assets \xe2\x80\x93 Establish and maintain Fixed Assets Management process. Review ROI, benefit evaluations and ensure adequate accounting controls and procedures on CAPEX.
  • Direct Taxation \xe2\x80\x93 Adhere to all required direct taxation compliances. Work with external stakeholders for optimum tax incidence on legal entities, Work with SAP Teams to implement various changes in Indian tax environment in internal accounting and reporting systems. Liaise with tax consultants, regulatory authorities to ensure all responses are met and refunds due to entity are achieved.
  • Financial Audits \xe2\x80\x93 Prepare financial statements in accordance with AS and IND AS requirements. Work closely with statutory auditors to ensure timely audits and certification of both AH legal entities in India.
  • Business Support \xe2\x80\x93 Inform and educate internal stakeholders on taxation matters impacting business operations, Extend support in preparing and implementing required processes to ensure such tax requirements are met.
  • Drive implementations of various Global projects, initiatives in market. Maintain a compliant organization through various initiatives. Ensure zero adverse observations during various internal and external audits.
Qualifications -

Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant

Required Experience -
  • +10 years of Finance & Accounting experience
  • +3 years of People Managerial Experience will be an added advantage
  • Well-versed with AS and IND AS requirements.
  • Hands-on experience of financial statements preparations
  • Experience in Income Tax assessments, Audits, Returns
  • SAP FICO Experience
  • Experience in dealing with Shared Service Centres
