Your Career As part of the Strata Network Security Management Infra Leader, you are responsible for team developing and innovating solutions for Palo Alto Networks next-generation Firewalls. Specifically in the areas of Logging Management, Config management, Machine Learning, Data lake management, Big Data technologies, High availability and overall Management Infra and UI architecture and User experience infra. You will also be responsible for innovation, developing proof of concept and productizing 'new' ideas by implementing them and collaborating with team members. Your Impact

• Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building. Ideally combined background of various cloud and Hardware product development lifecycle
• Push engineering boundaries, coming up with high quality, simple solutions to complex engineering and product problems, while continuously growing your skillset to induce increased innovation within the team over time
• Maintain and cultivate high quality in terms of engineering practices, code quality, and work/foster a culture of engineering excellence, and dynamic execution
• Strong ownership mindset while owing the execution of complex engineering challenges including their architecture, their timelines, while collaborating with stakeholders
• Champion engineering excellence, establish business metrics and drive continuous operational improvement
• Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others

Qualifications
Your Experience

• Responsible for development of NextGen Network Security Components and Protocols for State-of-the-art firewalls deployed at Enterprise, Data Centre, Cloud, and Service Provider environments
• Development of features and architecture for NextGen Security management with Hardware, and Virtual platforms in areas of Network Security/Threats
• Develop scalable architecture for Management UI - Cloud / On Prem, Log collection, Log analysis, Config Management, , telemetry, remote telemetry and Patchable infra
• Develop scalable software solutions for a distributed session architecture spanning across multiple solutions provided by Palo Alto
• Work with multi-functional team members on feature requirements, including but not limited to Product Management, QA, Support, etc
• 5+ years Management experience is must
• Product visionary, ideas on competitive edge, Effective decision maker, take ownership and independently drive, lead tasks and assignments
• Strong experience in Programming and large scale software development
• Strong technical knowledge in computer architecture, Systems engineering, Management Infra
• Experience in High Availability
• Experience in Multi Device management , Network / Enterprise Management infrastructure, Big data handling
• Experience in Firewall and Security is desired
• Can-do attitude and ability to take initiative and drive open issues to completion
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with multi-functional groups

Education

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
