Job Title Senior Manager EngineeringYour main responsibilitiesOverall responsible and accountable for product development and maintenance of Airline traveler touchpoints namely, Refx (web), Mobile & Chabot. You\xe2\x80\x99ll:

• Responsible for 2/3 scrum team.
• Provide timely response to stakeholders and escalations.
• Help in enabling airlines to attain omni channel strategy.
• Leading complete application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

• Ensure and make sure that team follows the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Must be able to manage the development and delivery aspects of the SDLC
• Must be able to independently understand the technical and functional aspects of all activities happening in the team.
• Must be able to clearly understand the technology already in place and apply the best practices of coding/unit testing especially in Object Oriented JavaScript, Typescript, Angular JS, CSS, HTML, AJAX
• Must be able to deliver with in well-defined timeline
• Must be hands-on in working on Agile/SAFe Agile, Lean Methodology
• Accountable for supporting the end user in the Production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to Problem Tracking Records (PTR) and Change Requests (CR).
• Exposure to and interest in Open-Source frameworks, tools, and technologies.
• Suggest alternatives / improvements / new techniques in processes, flows, operational models and plans
• Moderate budgetary impact on business
• Experience in continuous integration system plugins development.
• Able to work with Train Amigos at Digital level.
• Knowledge in setting up and maintaining systems monitoring and logging tools.

About the ideal candidate

• 12-15 years of experience in development of products and other SDLC verticals. Should have working experience with cloud.
• Should possess a strong knowledge in Angular, RxJS, Redux, design principles and Redux state management.
• Should have worked on or have an exceptionally good knowledge of web development aesthetics like SPA, Performance, Security and NFR.
• Should be proficient in core UI technologies like HTML 5.0, CSS3, Object Oriented Java script, Typescript, Ajax.
• Should have worked on or have a very good knowledge on one or more JS libraries like Node.js, Angular, JQuery
• Good to have working experience in Responsive and Accessibility web page development.
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Travel domain knowledge will be preferable.
• Knowledge/ work experience with REST based services is preferable.
• Should have preferably worked on Git or any version-control system.
• Ability to thrive in challenging situations.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred educational requirements

• B.Tech, M.Tech/MS or PhD in CS, CE or equivalent
