Job Description



Role purpose and impact:

  • LSEG.com \xe2\x80\x98editor in chief\xe2\x80\x99; ensuring all content is planned, the result of integrated C&M planning and meets a consistently high standard
  • Lead the creation of strategic content supporting the Group\xe2\x80\x99s corporate communications programme
  • Lead the development of a plc digital media strategy and implementation plan, providing an advisory service to ExCo members

Key responsibilities:
  • Work across the Communications & Marketing matrix to define the RACI, way of working and editorial standard for LSEG.com
  • In conjunction with the Reset programme, agree RACI and ways of working with key stakeholders including Content team and Integrated Marketing (Social and Digital teams)
  • Lead the development and management of highly sophisticated, strategic content to support the Group\xe2\x80\x99s corporate communications programme(s)
  • Ensure all corporate editorial content and channels are designed and implemented in-line with business objectives
  • Define plc/Group Level digital media (and social media) strategy and the plan to deliver it, supporting ExCo members to broaden their visibility and impact as thought leaders within a strategic framework


Leadership and management responsibilities/expertise:
  • Highly creative, self-starter
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the gravitas to engage and influence senior leaders


Technical/job functional knowledge:
  • Proven record of advising and influencing senior stakeholders, and in formulating and executing communications plans that achieve business objectives.
  • A track record of delivery in a dynamic, fast paced part of a business.
  • Significant experience writing content C-suite executives


Business and sector expertise:
  • 10 + years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Corporate Affairs and/or journalism
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, industries, economies
