As such, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Digital Design to join our group and grow our digital capability at our Bangalore/Hyderabad India site.The Role & Responsibilities

  • Providing technical and managerial leadership to a team of digital design engineers working on a complex subsystem or IP for a large digital SoCs in advanced technology nodes.
  • Managerial responsibility for a team of digital design engineers with broad experience range , hiring and retaining digital design engineers
  • Collaborate closely with existing team of digital ,Systems, Application in the definition to create a robust and efficient Digital Architecture. Decompose system level requirements to a set of requirements and specifications at the digital hardware block level.
  • Contribute to the digital design activities through:
  • Full chip/block level RTL design and implementation.
  • Close collaboration with DV engineering team to enable high quality verification.
  • Modelling/simulating/debugging of digital circuits and systems.
  • Liaising with the physical design and DFT teams in their implementation (i.e. synthesis, P&R, timing closure etc.) and to meet timing, power ,area and coverage goals.
  • Management of design-related activities to achieve project milestones.
  • Work within the wider ADI digital design community to proliferate & share best practice methodologies and technologies.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BTech/MTech/PhD degree in EE/ECE with 15+ years relevant digital ASIC design experience.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Strong background in digital digital design project management and organization
  • skills, with experience managing digital design resources:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to understand and clearly articulate technical issues.
  • Proven experience in productively engaging with cross-functional, global development teams with strong sense of responsibility to deliver on project milestones.
  • Broad experience working with digital design, verification, and implementation tools:
  • Strong knowledge of RTL coding techniques and good design practices. Hands on experience as well as leading the development of complex digital IPs or SoC.
  • Experience with standard design flows including LINT,CDC, Power analysis, Low power design techniques
  • Strong understanding of digital physical implementation challenges (synthesis, place-and-route, DFT, STA, etc.).
  • Influence DV engineers/leaders to enable grey-box testing of IPs or SoC using most advanced DV methodologies in a highly collaborative manner.
  • Experience in the use of FPGAs in a mixed-signal development flow.
  • Good supplementary skills in scripting languages such as TCL, Python, C etc.
  • Good team player
