The Role:

The Collections Manager/Sr Manager will be aligned to the Capital division of Razorpay. The main responsibility of the job is to frame and apply processes & strategies to manage delinquent and default accounts, retain customers, solve customers\' overdue problems, and protect the company\'s assets.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To strengthen the collections vertical by building product level collection capabilities and bringing higher focus to reduce delinquencies and improve recoveries
• To achieve monthly collection targets, control flow cases, document feedback
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly collection operations with optimum productivity and performance.
• Monitoring performance against set parameters and weekly review with Collection executives
• Strict adherence to processes & policies and regulatory guidelines by self and team members
• Ensuring background check of all collection agencies hired/Identify and manage training needs of the Collection Executives/ Evaluation of performance of all CE
• Working with on field collections agencies, increasing their reach and efficiencies while also improving the cost of collections through internal and third party support
• Working with the leadership to devise medium and long term strategies on improving collection efficiency through tech improvements & other interventions
• Plan for regular training of the team and audits of all processes
• Building strong cross functional relationships to drive collaboration with different teams

Mandatory Skills

• At least 8 years of overall experience in digital lending & collections; direct experience in B2B lending including SMEs, sole proprietors is preferable
• Strong networking, negotiation and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively in a complex organization
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
• Graduate degree (Master\'s) and/or professional certifications have an advantage
