Purpose of the Job: About the Department: Central Operations manages vendor contracts, oversees productivity, quality and other regulatory parameters as specified by IRDA for vendors. Manages IRDA reporting and audits. Supports on call record management of various call centers contracted with Operations teams. Purpose of the Role: As Senior Manager, the role involves overseeing vendor contracts, managing IRDA audits, enabling operations department to manage call records. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure LOB monitors vendor SLA and deviations are documented & reported if any. Organize structured engagements with vendor & internal stakeholders to discuss performance and improvements areas. Interact with Legal, compliance & procurement for vendor selection, evaluation and due diligence. Monitor & Report vendor performance-' to internal committee and assist business owners in developing corrective action plan. Align vendor initiatives to boost performance and support peak volumes. Ability to handle internal & external audits (regulatory as well as third party audits). Handling special management driven projects like cost negotiation and cost saving opportunities, process improvement, process related knowledge or awareness building. Enable call record management process, retrieval and access in HDFC Life systems Work closely with Operations Department heads and various internal stakeholders on call record management. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Academic Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate. Work Experience: 7 years' experience in Insurance Industry. Awareness of Life-Asia System. Should have worked on overseeing contracts for outsourced vendors, should have experience of managing IRDA audits and statutory audits. Required Skills: Strong analytical abilities. Interpersonal skills. Stakeholder management. MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and etc.) Vendor management. Presentation skills. Multi-tasking.
