Summary: This role encompasses a dual focus: 50% centered on managing both people and projects, while the other 50% revolves around crafting precise and robust revenue and patient forecasts. This position holds a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of excellence within the BD team\'s deliverables. The responsibilities entail direct supervision of individual contributors, ensuring deliverables meet objectives, setting goals, managing performance, and providing coaching. Additionally, the role involves developing and presenting forecast models and presentations to effectively convey findings, insights, and recommendations to team members. The ideal candidate will possess a robust analytical background, capable of not only constructing but also motivating high-performing teams to propel the Hyderabad site toward success.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team to bring complex analytical solutions to completion on time, ensuring high quality of work that adheres to analytical best practices
• Provide strong recommendations through analyses of current states a deep understanding of the environment
• Screen and interview team members and play a key role in mentoring/training new hires, designing career development opportunities and creating a culture of connectivity and meaningful work within the team
• Provide significant input into and communicate diplomatically regarding performance reviews, promotions and compensation actions for team members
• Proactively seeks opportunities to build strong capabilities and continuously improve or implement new technologies
• Partner with BD US team to maintain comprehensive forecasting models and methodologies to project sales and patients for new BD opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze relevant data, market trends and historical performance
• Apply advanced statistical analysis techniques and time series/predictive modelling to identify trends/drivers influencing forecasts.
• Proactively and continuously assesses the relevant marketplace and its dynamics, customers, competitors and future development trends
• Prepare and present forecast reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights and recommendations to team members to align forecasts with business goals and strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging methodologies and best practices of forecasting and simulations.

Experience

• We welcome a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s (MBA preferred; quantitative area)
• Strong Experience with forecasting/analytics, modeling platforms, data manipulation.
• Experience working with data visualization tools & MS Suite
• Must have pharmaceutical industry experience
• Experience managing/leading team(s) supporting global enterprise
• Familiarity with the biopharma industry, including market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and BD trends & deals.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong verbal/written skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with senior leadership
• Strong project management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams and manage a heavy workload
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of qualitative design, data analysis and applied statistics
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets to ensure accuracy and reliability of forecasts.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate forecast findings into actionable insights and recommendations
• Exceptional model-building and forecasting skills in-line with Analyst I expectations
