Seeking a highly experienced Bus Body Engineer with a strong background in bus body structure design, development, and advisory services. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of hands-on experience in structural engineering, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative bus body solutions



Key Responsibilities:


Lead the design, analysis, and validation of bus body structures, ensuring compliance with safety, durability, and regulatory standards (AIS, CMVR, etc.). Provide technical advisory support to internal teams and external stakeholders on structural design, material selection, and manufacturing feasibility. Provide technical clearances for Bus Bodies built at accredited body builders, as per the internal BBA guidelines and report the findings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including chassis engineering, electrical, HVAC, and manufacturing to ensure seamless integration of systems. Review and approve engineering drawings, 3D models, and structural simulations (durability, crashworthiness, etc.). Drive cost optimization and weight reduction initiatives without compromising structural integrity or safety. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for structural issues in field or production. Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and technologies in bus body engineering. Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
