Job Description


Develops and executes a comprehensive automation strategy to support BCF functions, identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and improvement Defines and drives the automation roadmap, priorities and set of underlying improvement projects; manages projects and accountable for outcomes Assesses, prioritizes, and implements automation tools and technologies to optimize financial controls processes Develops and implements customized automations to address specific business controls requirements Ensures seamless data flow between financial systems, enhancing data accuracy and reducing manual data entry Ensures automated processes adhere to internal controls and comply with regulatory requirements Provides training and technical guidance to BCF team members on automations and associated process changes Holds self and others to timelines, quality, and accuracy Develops strong relationships with all stakeholders to understand processes and controls and identify opportunities to automate Articulates material risks and opportunities and takes an active role in designing and executing response or contingency plans (Disclaimer: The responsibilities listed above are only a summary and other responsibilities will be requirements as assigned) Supervisory Responsibility (List job titles of positions that report directly or indirectly to this position and indicate nature of relationship): Direct reports: N/A Key Stakeholders/Contacts - describe this position s key internal matrix relationships and key external stakeholders/clients Key internal stakeholders: Associate Director, BCF Hyderabad Lead Business Process Champions BCF Leadership Team Controllership CoE Lead Owners of key business processes Corporate and in-market Finance teams Teams based in other Finance global center locations Associate Director, BCF Hyderabad Lead List of minimum requirements Degree/Certification/Licensure Bachelor s degree required. Master s degree or CA / CPA preferred. Experience - Responsibility and minimum number of years A minimum of 7-9 years of experience Compliance and controls experience within the pharmaceutical industry preferred Public accounting experience preferred Competencies - knowledge, skills, abilities, other Knowledge of key accounting processes and systems Fluency in written and spoken English Experience with process improvement (including process automation) and improvement frameworks (eg, Agile, Lean) Proven track record of successfully implementing automations and continuous improvement plans Strong oral and written communication skills Strong relationship management skills Adaptability and ability to manage change Customer-first mindset Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to drive collaboration with senior leaders Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Growth mindset to look for innovation and continuous improvement opportunities
