The Senior Manager, Audit Professional Practices plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the Internal Audit function by continuously enhancing audit methodology and processes to increase Audit's value and effectiveness across Invesco. This position is responsible for managing or contributing to various Internal Audit activities, including methodology alignment with IIA standards, quality assurance, and education and engagement across the IA team and with business stakeholders.
Key Objectives:Lead the design and maintenance of Invesco's frameworks and standards for effective management of Internal Audit professional practices Continuous improvement and embedding of Audit professional practices (e.g. frameworks and standards) on a global and regional basis as required Support the wider Audit agenda (including reporting and system requirements) aligned to the Audit professional practices principles


You Will Be Responsible For:Lead the design and maintenance of Invesco's frameworks and standards for effective management of Internal Audit professional practices. Manage Internal Audit's Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP), including internal and external assessments, to ensure quality and consistency in execution of Audit activities. Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology platforms, and integrate best practices to drive continuous improvement Perform periodic review and monitoring of the relevant Audit frameworks and standards to support QAIP and continuous improvement across the Audit function. Collaborate across the Audit and related Operations and Intelligence and Analytics functions to identify improvements and enhancements for frameworks and standards to further increase Audit's value and effectiveness across Invesco Provide and/or coordinate training and activities to embed professional practices across the Internal Audit function and the global business Support the streamlining of assurance and control testing frameworks throughout the wider business to aid firm-wide consistency and cohesiveness Promote and foster a focus on innovation, continuous learning and improvement for all aspects of Audit activities, including appropriate leverage of technology and data analytics

The Experience You Bring:Required: minimum 7-10 years' experience in Audit functions (or equivalent) in financial services, preferably in asset management An excellent understanding of Audit frameworks, methodologies, standards and related regulatory requirements Proven success in defining and implementing Audit QAIP framework within the Financial Services industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engagement and partnership with senior audit leaders and stakeholders across the firm Experience of deploying analytical thought leadership towards process enhancement and data analysis to strengthen, simplify and streamline activities Ability to conduct analysis, communicate complex concepts, and present data in a meaningful way Brings collaborative, solutions-focused approach with proactive attitude to change status quo

Academic RequirementsMinimum requirement: Bachelor's degree; Finance, Business Management, Risk Management or relevant discipline is beneficial. Master's degree preferred. Accreditation in relevant professional standards from recognized Audit professional industry bodies (CPA, CFA, CIA, CISA) is highly desired
