You'll be leading multiple software engineering teams internally and externally to design and develop complex software architecture for Digital Sales and Mobile Application. Digital Channel being a high-volume application and the face of Verizon to the world, performance in this case is of paramount importance and also customer experience cannot be ignored. This single, scalable system enables our customers to access one of the largest globally integrated networks. Your work will help us to stay at the forefront of technology and positively impact the customer experience. Responsibilities also include organizational leadership, project management, business process subject matter expertise to implement solutions, quality management, business acceptance testing, and communication of the improvement initiatives.
Delivering Critical programs for Verizon Mobile app and Digital Sales
Providing direction and guidance on strategic initiatives from inception to implementation.
Creating self-serving, self-sufficient teams of business process solution architects and support personnel.
Adopting Gen AI on device SLM
Assisting the team on finding solutions for obstacles to meet committed deliverables.
Providing process and application expertise, plan and guide division of work across team members.
Utilizing business process insight and application knowledge.
Building a culture of highly motivated team members that are focused on speed and agility resulting in customer satisfaction through innovation and silo busting.
Developing talent, mentor and coach teams to drive continuous growth and improvement with focus on reducing time to market on our strategic goals, understanding business criticality, and removing complexity.
Working closely with external teams to define release content and ensure growth of the platform to meet competitive demands.
Leading a pillar in Mobility COE
Leading and mentoring engineering web and application programming interface teams through software platform releases, ensuring products are on spec, architecturally sound, and delivered on time.
Supporting customers with major platform issues and coordinating triage efforts to solve them.
Documenting and maintaining architectural guidance to ensure performance and scalability of the platform.
Adhering to industry standards and best practices and understanding emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve the systems, application, infrastructure, and processes.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of experience in handling Mobile application
Three or more years of experience in handling Digital eCommerce Web Applications
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in leading and building applications on Mobile native architecture and tech stack.
Strong experience in successfully handling big and complex projects using the React JS, Java, Spring reactive framework and micro services along with hands-on experience in building cloud native applications.
Experience in either Swift UI or Kotlin
Experience in progressive transformation, technology enablement & innovation
Experience in managing larger teams
Good understanding of enterprise service platforms and their impact in overall customer experience.
Strong background in stakeholder and partner management along with cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills, and be able to explain complex concepts both concisely and simply.
Demonstrated ability to drive projects in Agile and be able coach and mentor the teams on best practices.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Knowledge on Tools like Site catalyst, Firebase, Crashlytics, Quantam Merticsetc..
Knowledge on Security concepts will be added advantage.
Knowledge and experience in AEM.
Knowledge and experience in PEGA.
Knowledge and experience with any BPM tools.
Knowledge and experience with SRE practice.
Knowledge on AI/ML and Voice bot
Knowledge on Cloud, Containerization, DevOps, Agile, Cassandra and other emerging technologies.
