The Senior Manager leads large-scale research teams and high-priority initiatives across Norstella's domain-specific intelligence capabilities. This role drives strategic enhancements to content quality, database systems, and automation while developing the next generation of people leaders. It is a critical position for ensuring excellence in both operational delivery and people development across a growing global function.

Responsibilities





Lead therapeutic research programs and strategic analyses that shape Norstella's competitive positioning, regulatory foresight, and future product direction Drive system-wide enhancements through automation, publishing innovation, SOP modernization, and scalable sourcing strategies aligned to business goals Establish quality standards, lead cross-functional data validation initiatives, and embed industry best practices across publishing and QA workflows Manage performance tracking, KPI reporting, and risk escalation for multi-team portfolios, offering insights and data-driven recommendations to leadership Champion team development through coaching, capability-building programs, and succession planning while ensuring alignment with Norstella's strategic roadmap Represent the function in cross-functional and client engagements, offering expert insights, resolving escalations, and aligning research delivery with external needs Operate with a strategic mindset--identifying process inefficiencies, anticipating challenges, and implementing change management initiatives to ensure excellence and growth.

Requirements





Graduate/Post-Graduate/Doctorate degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, or equivalent discipline/experience Minimum 8 years of experience in life sciences/pharmaceutical research (expertise in Central Nervous System and/or Autoimmune Diseases), with at least 3 years in people leadership or team management roles Expertise in drug development, regulatory landscapes, and pharma analytics Demonstrated success in leading automation or publishing systems, with experience in AI-enabled applications
Strong command over QA governance, SOP implementation, and performance reporting
