The Senior Manager Accounting & Finance is a pivotal role that focuses primarily on accounting functions with a significant portion of responsibility for financial management. This role plays a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Job Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts, Periodically P&L Statements Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and performance evaluation.
Accounts Payable & Receivable :
Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure Accurate and timely salary transactions and reconciliation of the same on a monthly basis.
General Ledger Management:
Prepare and oversee the general ledger and chart of accounts. Reconcile accounts and manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain a well-organized and accurate accounting system.
Financial Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local and PAN India financial laws and regulations. Coordinate for financial audits and prepare necessary documentation for auditors. Assist in tax planning and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Prepare and review tax filings, including income tax, GST, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax and other applicable taxes. Monitor and Address Tax Related issues.
Financial Planning and Strategy:
Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the organization's objectives. Forecast financial trends, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Evaluate and advise on investment opportunities, mergers, and acquisitions.
Budgeting and Cost Management:
Assist in the annual budgeting process and monitor ongoing budget performance. Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Allocate resources effectively to achieve financial goals.
Cash Management:
Optimize cash flow and liquidity management. Monitor and manage working capital to ensure the organization's financial health. Assess and mitigate financial risks.
