AVPN is seeking an
Senior Manage
r to support and lead projects under its professional training platform, the AVPN Academy. The Academy works with a select group of partners to deliver a yearly calendar of peer-to-peer and expert-led learning activities.
The incumbent will report to the Executive Director, Insights and Academy, to deliver learning products that resonate with learners, leveraging the existing calendar of activities as well as introducing new offerings.
Responsibilities

Lead the team in delivering a portfolio of learning activities annually, and in introducing new programmes where appropriate,
Ensure financial sustainability of the Academy portfolio of projects, working alongside the marketing and membership teams,
Ensure high standards of project execution from design to delivery, in order to meet project deliverables and expectations of internal and external stakeholders,
When needed, represent the Academy in partnership conversations with funders, members and sponsors of AVPN,
Proactively work across teams to ensure knowledge sharing and collective learning.
Requirements
----------------
Masters' degree with at least 5-10 years experience in the social sector and/or related fields. Background in education management and leadership is a big plus.
Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and compelling manner in English, both written and verbal
Knowledge of philanthropy and social investment best practices and trends (e.g. collaborative philanthropy, impact investing, impact measurement and management, trust-based philanthropy, blended finance, etc.)
Passion for social impact and a drive to make a positive impact on the world through sharing knowledge
Experience working professionally with individuals and/or organisations across Asia-Pacific
Ability to plan, coordinate, align, and lead projects to achieve deliverables
Detail-oriented and methodical in managing multiple stakeholders and timelines
Preferably, the assistant manager is based in South Asia or Southeast Asia
Technologically savvy; mastery over Microsoft Office products is preferred
