Responsibilities:

• Strategic Network Design: Lead the end-to-end setup and execution of Ocean and Air freight lanes for new vehicle programs, employing Value Engineering principles to balance cost, speed, and reliability.
• Operational Excellence & Disruption Management: Oversee daily global freight operations, utilizing advanced problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D, 5-Whys) to mitigate delays, space constraints, and equipment shortages.
• Digital Transformation & AI Integration: Support the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning tools to enhance volume forecasting, predictive ETAs, and proactive risk management.
• Advanced Data Visualization: Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to provide real-time visibility into the global pipeline, converting complex datasets into actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): Drive a Kaizen culture by identifying incremental process improvements and leading cross-functional workshops to eliminate waste in the inbound supply chain.
• Financial Optimization (TVM): Identify and execute high-impact cost-saving initiatives to achieve Total Value Management (TVM) targets through lane optimization and improved container utilization.
• Process Automation: Leverage Power Automate and other low-code solutions to digitize manual workflows, reducing administrative lead time and improving data integrity.
• Strategic Partnership Management: Lead high-level KPI reviews with Global Logistics Service Providers (LSPs), driving accountability and fostering innovation in service delivery.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor global shipping trends, including "Blank Sailings" and Port congestion, to develop agile contingency plans for the IMG network.

Qualifications:
Candidate Specification

• Education: B.E / B.Tech with an MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
• Experience: 4-7+ years of experience in global logistics, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sector, with a proven track record of managing complex international networks.
• Problem-Solving Expertise: Strong command of structured problem-solving techniques (Lean Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, or A3 thinking) to resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Technical Proficiency:

• Data Visualization: Expert-level skills in Power BI or Tableau for creating executive-level analytics.
• Automation: Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• AI Curiosity: Familiarity with how AI/Machine Learning can be applied to supply chain forecasting and logistics optimization.
• Systems: Proficiency in Ford-specific or global ERP systems (e.g., WERS, CMMS3, SAP, or Oracle).
• Expertise in Incoterms 2020 and international trade regulations.
• Certifications (Preferred):

• APICS (CSCP, CLTD) or CIPS accreditation.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Soft Skills : Exceptional English communication skills, a "continuous improvement" mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional program teams in a matrix environment.
