Job Description

The Senior Liaison Officer plays a crucial role in the successful implementation of SRA projects in Mumbai. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced individual capable of effectively liaising with diverse stakeholders, including slum dwellers, government agencies, developers, and local communities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, along with a deep understanding of the SRA process and local regulations.

Responsibilities:



Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders involved in SRA projects, including slum dwellers, local residents, developers, government officials, and NGOs.

Community Engagement: Conduct regular meetings and consultations with slum dwellers to address concerns, provide updates on project progress, and ensure their participation in the decision-making process. Information Dissemination: Effectively communicate complex information regarding SRA projects, policies, and procedures to a diverse audience in clear and easily understandable language. Conflict Resolution: Proactively identify and address potential conflicts or disputes among stakeholders, mediating discussions and facilitating mutually acceptable solutions. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all communications, meetings, and agreements. Prepare regular reports on project progress, highlighting key achievements and challenges. Project Monitoring: Monitor the progress of SRA projects to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant SRA regulations, government policies, and legal requirements. Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data related to community needs and project impacts to inform decision-making and improve program effectiveness. Coordination: Collaborate effectively with other departments within the SRA to ensure seamless project implementation. Training and Capacity Building: Assist in training and capacity building initiatives for community members involved in SRA projects.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in the real estate industry in Mumbai. Proven experience in liaising with diverse stakeholders, particularly in urban development or slum rehabilitation projects. Strong understanding of the SRA process, regulations, and policies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, including fluency in Marathi and Hindi, with English proficiency. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with data collection and analysis is desirable.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
