Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesCivil Litigation & Dispute Resolution



Manage end-to-end civil cases in District/High Courts, industrial tribunals, labour commissions, etc. Draft pleadings, written statements, appeals, affidavits, miscellaneous applications, notices, and petitions. Represent clients in court hearings and liaise with external advocates or counsels. Conduct legal research on case law and procedural issues; maintain litigation strategy and trackers.

Labour & Employment Law Advisory



Provide strategic and operational advice on labour matters, including industrial relations, disciplinary proceedings, internal enquiries, Draft and review employment contracts, HR policie POSH Act compliance, and employment disputes. statutory policies, settlements, and employee transfer documentation. Conduct employment law audits, due diligence (especially during M&A or asset transfers), and recommend compliant internal processes. aq present clients in labour tribunals, arbitration, or litigation in employment-related disputes.

Corporate & Contract Law Support



Draft, negotiate, review and manage service agreements, vendor/outsourcing contracts, NDAs, license contracts, and other corporate documents. Provide advisory support on corporate compliance including Companies Act, FEMA, contract law, and commercial regulation. Conduct due diligence for mergers, JV?structures, asset transfers, and commercial transactions.

Stakeholder & Risk Management



Advise senior management and cross-functional teams (HR, finance, procurement, operations) on legal risks and mitigation strategies. Liaise with external law firms or counsels; manage litigation strategy and budget. Monitor regulatory developments; update company legal policies accordingly.

Leadership & Mentorship



Mentor junior lawyers or paralegals, oversee legal research and ensure quality control in deliverables. Support knowledge?management and contribute to legal training within the organisation.

Drafting & Documentation Excellence



Draft, review, and negotiate

a wide range of legal documents--including employment contracts, HR policies (e.g. POSH, gratuity, disciplinary rules), vendor and service agreements, NDAs, lease/licensing contracts, settlement agreements, and statutory documentation--ensuring legal robustness and business alignment. Prepare well?structured, persuasive pleadings in civil litigation matters--such as plaints, written statements, appeals, affidavits, and miscellaneous applications--tailored to each jurisdiction. Draft legal opinions, internal memos, and advisory notes for senior management and functional teams, translating complex legal principles into actionable guidance. Ensure consistency and accuracy across drafted documents by maintaining standardized templates, version controls, and legal tracking registers.

Required Qualifications & Skills



Degree

: LLB or BA.LLB from a recognized Indian university.

Preferred Experience
