Job Description

We are seeking Senior Legal Editorial Associate to support the Practical Law editorial teams with the creation, publication, delivery, and presentation of content for Practical Law.

About the role

Working with fellow Legal EAs in both Hyderabad and the UK and under the organization and supervision of two Hyderabad-based Managers, you will:


Prioritizes own work as well as work of others to deliver on competing demands Evaluates and recommends work alignment and transition Possesses in-depth knowledge and understanding of customer use of products Establishes expectations and drives high quality work Leads others in identifying, developing and executing process improvements Leads team on new product, tool and process development Creates and maintains documentation and provides training to groups on broad set of tasks / initiatives Communicates difficult & complex concepts effectively by altering communication style to audience, exercise tact & discretion in communications Leads efforts to build & maintain strong working relationships with internal & external partners; removes silos Leads and co-ordinates resolution of complex technical issues, including mitigation of customer impact and initiating action to determine root causes Acts as a resource to teammates and vendor/co-source partners in resolving technical development/maintenance issues, and proactively shares learnings with teams

About You:

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or an integrated undergraduate law degree,

or

Minimum 3 years' experience as a paralegal. At least 2 years of experience working with

Practical Law

products. Prior legal training and/or experience strongly preferred. Previous experience in a publishing environment is an advantage. Familiarity with technology for creating and disseminating online content preferred. Exceptional writing and communication abilities. Strong proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
