We are looking for a strategic legal professional to serve as a trusted advisor across the organization, partnering closely with leadership and cross-functional teams on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters. In this role, you will help shape strong governance practices, lead commercial negotiations, and ensure alignment with evolving UK and EU regulatory landscapes. Requirements
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex commercial agreements and strategic business partnerships.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on legal considerations, risk exposure, and compliance obligations.
• Interpret and apply relevant UK & EU financial regulatory frameworks, such as GDPR, DORA, PRA, and operational compliance standards.
• Develop and maintain effective legal processes, templates, documentation, and internal workflows.
• Identify emerging legal and regulatory risks and recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
• Partner with leadership to align contract structures and negotiation strategies with commercial objectives.
• Strengthen internal governance, ensuring consistent standards and legal best practices across the organization.
• Act as an internal educator--translating complex legal requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders.

What Makes You a Strong Match

• Demonstrated experience managing and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements.
• Prior in-house legal experience, ideally within regulated or technology-led industries.
• Thorough working knowledge of UK & EU regulatory frameworks and practical application in real-world business contexts.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify legal concepts for varied audiences.
• Highly organized, detail-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving capability, and a proactive mindset toward issue resolution.
• Comfortable working in dynamic or fast-growing environments with evolving priorities.
