Key Responsibilities
Corporate & Commercial Legal
Manage all legal matters of the company including contracts, compliance, disputes, and risk management
Draft, review, and vet commercial agreements, MOUs, NDAs, SLAs, vendor, client, and partnership contracts
Provide legal opinions and strategic advice to management on business decisions
Litigation & Court Representation
Represent the company before the
High Court
, District Courts, Tribunals, and other legal authorities
Handle civil, commercial, labor, and contractual litigation
Draft legal notices, replies, pleadings, writ petitions, affidavits, and appeals
Coordinate with external counsels and advocates when required
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with applicable laws including Contract Act, Companies Act (legal advisory), Labour Laws, IT Act, and other relevant regulations
Identify legal risks and recommend preventive measures to protect company interests
Manage legal documentation and case tracking
Employment & Operational Legal Support
Advise HR on employment law matters, disciplinary actions, terminations, and policy drafting
Handle legal issues related to vendors, customers, operations, and government authorities
