The Senior Lecturer in Prosthodontics will be responsible for teaching, training, and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate dental students, with a focus on fixed, removable, maxillofacial prosthodontics, and implantology. The role involves contributing to academic development, research, clinical practice, and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lectures, tutorials, pre-clinical, and clinical demonstrations in Prosthodontics.
Supervise and guide students in laboratory and clinical settings.
Assist in curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methods.
Actively participate in student assessment, examination, and feedback.
Provide clinical services to patients in the Prosthodontics department.
Engage in departmental research, publications, and conferences.
Contribute to institutional committees, community outreach, and professional development programs.
Qualifications & Requirements
MDS in Prosthodontics from a DCI-recognized institution.
Teaching and clinical experience (freshers also welcome).
Strong knowledge of modern prosthodontic techniques including digital workflows.
Evidence of research, publications, and academic contributions desirable.
