We are hiring a
Senior Lead Thermal Engineer
with strong expertise in
thermal-fluid sciences
to lead the development and validation of advanced engineering models for
HVAC and heat exchanger applications
.
This role requires hands-on experience in
fin-and-tube heat exchangers
, hydronic systems, and HVAC standards, along with the ability to manage multiple engineering initiatives and guide junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, validate, and review
thermal-fluid and HVAC models
Lead projects related to
coil selection and hydronic systems
Perform and verify
thermal and fluid hand calculations
Validate models using
lab and field data
Translate engineering models into
software-ready logic
Coordinate project timelines and technical deliverables
Support testing, debugging, and model validation activities
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of
thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
Hands-on experience with
fin-and-tube heat exchangers
Familiarity with
AHRI / ASHRAE standards
Understanding of
pump curves, hydronic circuits, and pump selection
Experience with
MATLAB or Python
for modeling and curve fitting
Strong capability in
engineering hand calculations
Qualifications
Bachelor's / Master's / PhD in
Mechanical, Thermal, or Automotive Engineering
8-10 years of experience in the
thermal engineering domain
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
