As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology and Engineering division, you will join a high-impact engineering team where your expertise will promote innovation, career growth, and the development of market-leading technology products. You will design, build, and deliver secure, scalable AI/ML solutions that promote significant business impact, collaborating across disciplines and championing engineering best practices.

Job responsibilities

Spearhead the creation of intelligent AI/ML systems using agentic frameworks for autonomous decision-making Engineer and scale machine learning pipelines with Python and state-of-the-art libraries Build and maintain high-throughput RESTful APIs for AI/ML services, prioritizing speed and security Orchestrate AI/ML workloads on Kubernetes for seamless scaling and resource management Establish automated CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end ML lifecycle management in cloud-native environments Guide and mentor engineering talent, fostering excellence in AI/ML development practices Champion firmwide engineering standards and contribute to the broader technical community

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes in technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, or machine learning Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently Practical cloud-native experience Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Familiarity with modern front-end technologies Exposure to cloud technologies
