As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Data Management division, you will play a crucial role in an agile team, focusing on the enhancement, construction, and delivery of top-tier technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your skills and contributions will have a substantial impact on the business, and your profound technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies will be applied to address a wide range of challenges across various technologies and applications.

Job responsibilities

• Collaborates with other technology teams to design, develop, test full stack cloud data solutions.
• Provides craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience and scalability of your solution.
• Leads innovation, performs proof of concept and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies
• Provide expertise in one or more technology domains, may be a cross-domain expert able to solve complex and mission critical problems within a business or across the firm.
• Designs, analyzes, develops, tests, debugs and delivers software enhancements and/or new products.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands on experience in Java Backend with good understanding of front end tools. Working proficiency in Full Stack toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Strong experience working with complex cloud native, AWS and Java J2EE experience
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
• Hands on expertise working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including entitlement and IAM policy
• Expertise across SDLC and in designing and architecting systems and demonstrate technical leadership skill
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on Hadoop and streaming data applications (Spark Streaming, Kafka, Kinesis, and Flink)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Working experience on Cloudera Hadoop Platform
• Minimum 1 year of experience with DevOps automation tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform) in developing, deploying and monitoring in building large distributed systems
• Minimum 1 year of experience in using container technology including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, AWD Fargate
