Detailed JD: Job Specifications- we are looking for a quality assurance engineer who can work with a cross functional team to understand potential software and elevator hardware issues throughout the new product lifecycle. This position will be responsible for quality assurance of new customer features and supporting architecture, provide technical leadership for a group of development engineers in the team, develop test cases and scenarios to ensure that our new product will have best experience for our customers, and establish optimal QA engineering process. Job Roles and Responsibilities (Detailed job description highlighting mandatory requirements and good to have skills and experiences) Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in an environment where speed and scale is our direction Ability to self-direct, work within constraints and to challenge the status quo Identify choke points in the ingestion cloud via measurable and quantified data Build API performance and load test automation Understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation, and testing methodologies. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality Experience working with product owners defining, and refining user stories. . Experience with SoapUI, JMeter, Selenium, and BDD test frameworks Preferable to have Agile Testing Experience in an agile development environment (e.g. SCRUM/XP/Kanban) with experience writing acceptance criteria for user stories. Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements. Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and are able to synthe the results. Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness.
