Senior Lead Engineer Full Stack
What the role is all about:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Lead Engineer Full Stack (9-11 years experience) who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys being hands-on tackling technical challenges and leading teams to deliver innovative solutions. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the globe, leading the design, development, and optimization of features to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences over native mobile and web.
The Senior Lead Engineer role has key strategic importance and visibility within the business. This is a unique role that will focus on delivering thought leadership, designing innovative solutions, and helping your team leverage this to produce world class products.
This is your chance to work on impactful projects that drive customer satisfaction and company growth. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies alongside talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment.
While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with product managers and other engineers to translate user needs into technical specifications. Offering clear technical guidance and direction to a team of highly skilled engineers, ensuring solutions meet user and tech requirements
• Working within value-driven teams to craft data and engineering excellence, contributing to the technical roadmap and fostering a well-connected, knowledgeable team
• Leading technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural reviews to maintain code quality, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure adherence to standards
• Prioritizing and triaging custodianship work and leading the development of a Systems Health Improvement Plan (SHIP) to maintain the well-being of team systems
• Ability to ensure the operational stability and optimal performance of infrastructure and platform systems.
• Staying updated on the latest web and data engineering trends and applying them to solve complex challenges
• Providing mentorship and guidance through pairing, mentoring other team members, and fostering their professional growth and skill development

Who were looking for:

• Extensive experience in designing, coding, and testing software applications and systems
• Strong development skills withdevelopment languages and frameworks, such as Node JS, Typescript, or React
• AWS, HTML/CSS
• Experience with Agile, and/or Continuous Delivery methodologies.
• Good awareness of TDD, CI/CD approaches and tools.
• A willingness to tackle challenges with a solutions-focused approach, learning from experiences and adapting strategies.
• Demonstrates initiative, takes ownership of tasks, and manages time effectively.

Bonus Points for:

• Knowledge of Android and/or iOS development with Kotlin, Java, Swift or Objective C
• Understanding around GraphQL
