Job Title:

Senior Lead Engineer (FPGA)

Experience: 8 - 12 Years

Overview:

FPGA COE:

• The ASIC/FPGA Team works as Center of Excellence (COE) with all the business unit with teams around the globe, collaborating with them towards building prototypes, demonstrators, and new products, enabling better innovation and business outcomes for Collins Aerospace.
• We work on advanced and disruptive technology, innovation, and methods relevant to multiple strategic business units (SBUs).
• We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is ready to perform the role of a Lead Design Engineer as part of the ASIC/FPGA team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Architecture and micro-architecture of FPGA based Designs.
• Hands on experience in VHDL language, Integration testing.
• Familiar with Microsemi, Xilinx FPGA. Knowledge and experience of different protocol is added advantage.
• Responsibilities include RTL coding, simulation, synthesis, and hardware debugging skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Apply techniques and skills required to identify a root cause of a given issue and very good debugging skills.
• Protocols \xe2\x80\x93 PCIe, SPI, ARINC 429, Mil 1553, Image processing, Video.
• Technical guidance to the junior engineers on design tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Engineering (ECE,VLSI )
• 8-12 years of Industry experience with experience in development, integration & verification of ASIC/FPGA.
• Hands on experience in developing VHDL based designs from scratch.
• Hands on experience with Libero or VIVADO or similar advanced design tools.
• Exposure to FPGA verification using VHDL/System Verilog will be a plus.
• Experience in DOORS/Jama will be a plus.
• Guide Junior engineers in the project execution and take the ownership of the deliverables.
• Project management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
