Ensure awareness of Job Specification requirements within task force team members.
Ensure Task force members are familiar with and complies with the Company and Department Operating System.
Ensure awareness of the project schedule within the task force and that the efforts are planned to achieve the target.
Finalise Electrical Design Basis.
Ensure all input data and information from other group is received in time. Failure to meet the receipt of data should be alerted to project group with a copy to the Engineering Discipline Manager / Supervisor.
Communicate with other Lead Engineers in order to complete all inter-discipline co-ordination.
Ensure overall performance of his team throughout the duration of the project.
Monitor and control man-hours used on the project. To raise man hour variation to Project team for additional work.
To ensure team is adequately resourced, where deficiencies occur, he/she shall immediately seek a solution with the Engineering Discipline Manager / Supervisor.
Ensure awareness of the requirements of vendor drawings with respect to project completion. Difficulties in this area shall be brought to the attention of the Project Manager / Engineer.
Review vendor drawings to ensure compliance with job specification and data sheets.
Review output documents to ensure they meet project requirements and have been adequately checked.
To carry out defined responsibilities when relocated externally or within a task force.
To adopt an authoritative approach on matter associated with Electrical within the task force and promote the capability of the electrical group within company.
To participate in Task force meeting for project updates and review.
To prepare Work Instruction, Quality Level Document (QLD), for the project.
To check / review / approve the drawing / documents as per defined procedures.
To prepare an Engineering closure report of the project, posting lessons in share portal.
To review As-built drawing of the project.
To participate in HSE reviews/audits on the project.
To arrange for lectures/discussions within the task force to ensure understanding of HSE requirements on the project.
To arrange for sharing of HSE related lessons within the task force members.
To encourage reporting incidents/near misses/risk observations and include them as lessons learnt.
Requirements
Minimum 15 years relevant oil and gas experience within an engineering consultancy.
Conversant with IEC, IEEE , NEC and NORSOK standards.
Handled high voltage/ low voltage switchgear in PRE role.
Experience of working on offshore projects.
