Role Overview:
We are looking for a strong, hands-on Senior Lead DevOps Engineer to build and maintain a cloud-based authorization platform. You will help us build, manage secure, reliable & cost-effective cloud environments. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring operational excellence and business continuity in a dynamic cloud-native environment. We are looking for someone with a strong background in DevOps practices and tools, with a focus on Jenkins, Terraform, AWS cloud, and Kubernetes/EKS. Candidate will play a crucial role in our technology team, contributing to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of our infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:Build and oversee the implementation of secure, resilient, and cost-optimized AWS cloud infrastructure using best-in-class DevOps practices and technologies. Collaborate with software developers across multiple geographies and cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather requirements, and deliver systems and software within agreed upon timelines. Build and oversee AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability and low latency. Build and oversee Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure, ensuring robust workload orchestration and container lifecycle management. Build and oversee the implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment processes. Lead cloud security posture management by integrating security controls, automated scanning, and continuous compliance into the DevOps lifecycle. Drive infrastructure-as-code maturity through Terraform, enforcing modular, reusable, and version-controlled infrastructure patterns. Mentor a high-performing, geographically diverse team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.

Must Have Skills:Extensive experience building resilient, high-availability systems in AWS. Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.) and cloud architecture best practices. Strong experience managing Kubernetes clusters (preferably EKS) and containerization using Docker. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e. g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Ansible, Terraform). Proficiency in scripting languages for automation tasks (e. g. Bash, PowerShell, Python). Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or equivalent. Solid understanding of cloud security practices and compliance frameworks. Familiarity with cloud financial management and FinOps principles. Track record of designing and executing disaster recovery plans and drills. Solid knowledge of Cloud security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, vulnerability scanning, and compliance audits. Proven experience in a technical leadership role within a DevOps or Cloud Engineering team.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 9+ years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 3+ years in senior DevOps leadership positions. 5+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes.

Nice to have:AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified DevOps Engineer or equivalent. Kubernetes Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
