Job Description

Responsibilities:

This is role part to the team involved in accounting related processes for insurance products and services provided by Principal Financial group.
We are looking for Senior Lead Analyst resource who can work independently, has knowledge of advanced accounting, analytical skills, can trouble shoot/research/resolve issues.

Someone with both accounting and technical skills.

Will need to use programs such as SAS, SQL, etc.

Understanding of accounting of 'Separate Accounts' is desirable. The person would be involved in some activities relating to new ERP implementation and would be required to support those.



Process oriented mindset and experience in implementing process improvements. Anticipate this person will become familiar with all processes and use that knowledge to implement efficiencies.

Expected to work in 2nd shift (01.30 pm to 10.30 pm IST)

Detail oriented with the ability to research and identify root cause of issues. Must have basic planning, problem solving, analytical skills. Able to understand full process beyond only accounting impacts Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to diagnose problems Sound knowledge of Excel Functionality and other MS Office tools Ability to learn how to use accounting applications and software to analyze transactions and extract data Good knowledge of fundamental accounting and ability to understand impact for related processes supported Delivers timely and accurate accounting results/deliverables Support and work with auditors Supervisory skills Project management skills

Qualifications:
Accounting education background with graduation (in commerce), post-graduation, CA/CMA Inter. 8-10 years of relevant experience
