Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laravel Developer with 3 to 5 years' experience

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance Laravel-based web applications with clean, efficient, scalable code. Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to implement project requirements. Design and implement secure, high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs within Laravel's ecosystem. Conduct code reviews to enforce coding standards and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues proactively. Optimize application performance for speed and scalability. Integrate server-side logic with frontend Flutter applications, resolving API consumption issues. Stay updated on Laravel, PHP, and web technology trends to recommend improvements. Document technical specifications, code, and configuration for maintainability. Participate actively in Agile development processes (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives). Apply authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, API tokens) and handle CORS/network security in APIs. Use Laravel Eloquent ORM and query optimization for database interactions. Collaborate closely with Flutter developers for smooth API integration. Utilize Git for version control and collaborate in a team environment. Assist with deployment and monitoring for service availability and performance.

Core Requirements and Skills

Strong proficiency in PHP with solid object-oriented programming (OOP) understanding. At least 3+ years of experience developing PHP applications using the Laravel framework. Expert knowledge of Laravel features including Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, routing, middleware, and RESTful APIs. Proficient in relational databases (MySQL), database design, and query optimization. Familiar with front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript to support collaboration with frontend teams. Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development. Knowledge of web security best practices for safe application development. Comfortable working in Linux environments, with cloud platform (AWS, Azure) experience preferred. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Demonstrable portfolio of Laravel projects is a plus. Relevant PHP and Laravel certifications are advantageous.

Effective communication for translating Flutter developer needs into backend solutions. Experience working in Agile sprints, providing updates, adapting to changes. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Team collaboration and proactive engagement in development processes.
