Job Description

Academic & Teaching Duties:

Conduct theory and practical classes as per the DMLT syllabus. Prepare lesson plans, question papers, and teaching materials. Demonstrate laboratory procedures and ensure safe lab practices. Guide students in maintaining practical notebooks and logbooks. Conduct internal assessments, vivas, and practical exams. Provide mentorship and academic support to students. Maintain student attendance and academic performance records.

Laboratory Management (Academic):

Ensure all lab equipment and materials are ready and safe for student use. Assist in the setup and maintenance of academic lab facilities. Maintain inventory of lab supplies and report requirements to management. Supervise students during practice sessions to ensure proper technique and safety. Follow infection control and waste disposal protocols in the lab.

Coordination & Administration:

Coordinate with the Academic Coordinator regarding syllabus coverage and exam schedules. Participate in faculty meetings, academic reviews, and student orientation sessions. Assist in organizing academic events, workshops, and field visits related to lab science. Support during student placements or hospital internships by guiding documentation or skill readiness.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of medical laboratory sciences. Ability to teach and train students effectively. Clear communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational ability for managing lab schedules and records. Familiarity with academic compliance and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

DMLT or B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (M.L.T.). Minimum 1-2 years of lab or teaching experience preferred.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?16,000.00 per month
