Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Senior Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and experiments, analyzing data, and providing technical support to the research and development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal physiology, microbiology, molecular biology, and data collection. Duties:
- Perform laboratory tests and experiments according to established protocols
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data using various scientific techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities and results
- Prepare samples for testing and ensure proper storage and disposal of hazardous materials
- Assist in the development and optimization of laboratory procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with the research and development team to design experiments and interpret results
- Provide technical support to other laboratory staff members
- Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP)
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in laboratory techniques and technologies Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant scientific field (Master\'s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an industrial laboratory setting
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software applications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Collecting, receiving, labeling, and/or analyzing samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary.
• Designing and executing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
• Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic.)
• Organizing and storing all chemical substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
• Ensuring that safety guidelines are adhered to at all times within the laboratory.
• Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
• Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
• Ordering laboratory supplies, as needed.
• Providing technical support, when necessary.
• Keeping up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments.
