Performance of the tests in accordance with international / industry standards for aerospace materials\xe2\x80\x99 testing and acceptance such as AMS specifications, MIL standards, RTCA DO-160G, ASTM standards, FAA-FAR and TSO regulatory standards.

Plan and execute testing activities with respect to Universal testing machine (Mechanical testing of metallic/non-metallic materials such as technical fabrics, coated fabrics, elastomers/rubber, polymers, plastics, composites etc.,). Thermal analysis-DSC, TGA, Fourier transform infrared Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscope, Gas permeability Tester, Hardness Tester etc.,

Also operate and monitor equipment such as but not limited to closed loop vibration controllers, high pressure load control systems, Thermal chambers, Climatic chambers, vibration shakers etc., Coordination and prioritization of multiple test projects simultaneously, including fixture design & fabrication, test profile development, and test instrumentation.

Prepares appropriate documentation for assigned projects, which includes Cert plans, Qualification plans, Qualification reports, defining test pass/fail criteria, formulation of different templates for reports etc.,

Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS, AS9100, ISO/IEC 17025:2017), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and other regulatory requirements.

Coordination of TPM, AMC/Preventive maintenance, Calibration, operator walk-around checks of testing machines and ensuring adherence to 5-S standards and housekeeping in test lab area.

Proven computer usage skills as required with respect to materials testing, testing software, data acquisition and reporting of test data.
