Job Purpose

To carry out

testing and evaluation of enamelled wires using laboratory testing equipment

, and to

support R&D activities by running wire trials on the pilot/R&D enamelling plant

, ensuring products meet internal standards and customer requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Enamelled Wire Testing

Operate laboratory

equipment used for testing enamelled wires

Prepare wire samples for routine testing, development work, and customer trials Conduct testing strictly as per defined procedures and instructions Accurately observe, record, and report test results

B. R&D Plant & Wire Running

Operate

R&D / pilot enamelling plant

Run wire trials for new and modified enamel formulations Monitor coating quality, build consistency, curing behaviour, and surface finish Identify and report processing or coating-related issues during trials

C. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain proper records of: Test results Trial observations Sample identification and traceability Support R&D and QC teams in preparation of technical reports and trial summaries

D. Equipment Handling & Safety

Ensure proper operation, cleanliness, and basic upkeep of testing and R&D equipment Follow laboratory SOPs, safety guidelines, and electrical safety practices Report any equipment malfunction or abnormality immediately

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday

10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Salary Range

?20,000 - ?40,000 per month

(Final salary will depend on skill level, experience, and hands-on capability)*

Required Skills & Competencies

Ability to operate

equipment for testing enamelled wires

Practical understanding of wire enamelling and curing processes Good observation, documentation, and reporting skills Ability to follow SOPs and technical instructions accurately

Educational Qualification

Diploma / ITI / B.Sc.

(Chemistry / Physics / Electrical / Polymer or related field)

Experience

2-5 years

experience in: Enamelled wire testing laboratory

OR

Wire enamel / insulating materials manufacturing or R&D setup

Preferred Background

Experience in wire enamel, magnet wire, or electrical insulation industry Exposure to R&D or pilot plant operations will be an advantage
