We are looking for a passionate and responsible Journalist who can identify newsworthy stories, collect information, conduct interviews, and produce accurate, engaging content for digital and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and cover local news, human-interest stories, social issues, and business updates
Conduct interviews with individuals, officials, and business owners
Research, verify facts, and ensure accuracy of information
Write clear and engaging news articles, scripts, or captions
Coordinate with video, camera, and editing teams when required
Attend events, press meets, and field reporting assignments
Maintain ethical journalism standards and neutrality
Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field (preferred)
Strong communication skills in
Tamil & English
(spoken and written)
Good observation and storytelling ability
Confidence in public interaction and interviews
Basic knowledge of digital media and social platforms
Ability to work on tight deadlines
Experience
Freshers with strong interest in journalism are welcome
Prior experience in media, reporting, or content creation is an advantage
